Who could forget Oprah Winfrey’s famous endorsement commercial for Weight Watchers where she passionately declares her love for bread? We’ve all been her in that commercial at one point in our life. Carbs are just so darn good!
It appears the queen of bread has embarked on a new health-conscious endeavor that will launch early this fall. O, That’s Good! is her very first line of refrigerated foods created in partnership with Kraft. There will be four different soups and sides available for purchase to start and hopefully more to come.
Each product will be a delicious favorite with a healthy twist. For example, The Original Mashed Potatoes and Garlic Mashed Potato sides are reported to both have cauliflower added to them. The pasta sides will contain healthier ingredients such as butternut squash and white beans. You can also find an assortment of carrots, celery, squash, cauliflower and sweet potatoes secretly blended into soups such as Broccoli Cheddar and Baked Potato.
All soups will be priced at $4.99, while the sides will sell for $4.49.
“I love healthy foods and eating from my garden,” Winfrey said in a statement. She said she wanted to make “nutritious comfort foods more accessible to everyone.”
Here’s hoping she accomplishes her goal!
