Imagine being a blurry-eyed college student stumbling around the halls one morning after an evening of some excessive partying….and you see Game of Thrones’ Bran Stark walking towards you. Is this some kind of delirium? A product of the late-night partying? For students of the University of Birmingham, it’s no mirage.
That’s because actor Isaac Hempstead Wright is a math major at the university, but he’s also living the typical college life. Fans of the show couldn’t be happier, as that means partying with a prominent member of the Stark household. And you know what that means….constant badgering for crucial plot points of the last and final season of Game of Thrones.

He may play someone with unparalleled insight in the show, but Wright will hardly need that knowledge for college, as he received all A’s in his Maths, Further Maths, and Chemistry courses. What’s perhaps most impressive, though, is that he’ll be doing all of this on top of filming the upcoming Thrones season, which will surely be the largest and most engaging season for anyone working on it.
The actor did give us this little tidbit of juicy information (though, at this point, any information is juicy) when asked if Bran is indeed the much-dreaded Night King: “I think it’s less that they’re the same person and more that they’re two of the ancient beings of Westeros.”
